Linda CarpenterI photograph the landscape as I discover imagery that alters the meaning of the natural world, discloses culture, or challenges our romantic ideas, ideas often contradicted by the realities of affluence and consumption and our desire to dominate nature. |
William CarpenterWhen I create an image, I am telling a story. My task is to engage the viewer’s thoughts and emotions with the image. In my documentary photography I choose topics that give me the opportunity to promote changes in the social condition. Truth as a powerful catalyst for social change is what I strive for in my documentary work. |

Bob MichaelsMy documentary photography reflects a special interest in those cultural aspects of our local society that are disappearing. My primary goal is to create a record of today’s life within these groups so that others may later have a sense of what no longer exists. Being born and raised in Orlando when it was still part of the Deep South has a major influence on my perspective. |
